About the Event
Be transported to the West coast of Africa with Chef Kuukua of Asempe Kitchen, and a native of Ghana, West Africa, as she instructs you in making traditional West African dishes! Â Sip on a cocktail of your choice from Salt City Bar while you cook, or on the purple-red hibiscus-ginger cocktail infused with spicy cloves and grains of selim and sweetened with cane sugar brewed by Chef Kuukua. Â This hands-on class includes all ingredients, and your use of all cooking utensils needed and an apron, as well as Chef Kuuka's instruction. Â All guests of this workshop must purchase a ticket. Â Masks must be worn except while eating or drinking. Â Workshop will be held in Salt City Market's teaching kitchen. Â Salt City Market has it's own private parking lot for guests too!
