Connecting with the Tarot Workshop

Welcome to “Connecting With The Tarot,” a workshop designed to empower you to begin forming a personal relationship with your deck.  This workshop will be hosted by Anna with Intention  and held in the private banquet room at Aloft.  In this interactive hands-on workshop we will begin with dropping in and opening sacred space.  Then we will share some common myths and misconceptions you may have heard about Tarot that might be subconsciously preventing you from engaging with your deck more regularly.  Followed by a brief history of where Tarot comes from and discussion around the terms “New Paradigm vs Old Paradigm.”  We then dive in to what Anna calls the “Anatomy of the Tarot” and go over the large themes of the Major Arcana, Minor Arcana and Court Cards.  This workshop is perfect for anyone of any experience level who would like to connect to a deck in a deeper way and break the ice so you can feel more comfortable learning to read from an intuitive and confident place.  There will be plenty of room for discussion and questions throughout.  We highly suggest you bring your own deck for this workshop, as it is about connecting with your deck so you should really have one to keep!  If you do not have your own deck, Anna has some to borrow.  Please let us know at checkout if you need one.  Anna will provide you with a booklet to help guide you through the workshop that you can take home.  Inside the booklet will be space for notes as well but you're welcome to bring a journal if you have one.  Your ticket purchase includes your first drink AND veggie crudite. You're welcome to purchase additional beverages or food at the WXYZ Bar right outside the banquet room at Aloft and indulge during our class.  All guests must purchase a ticket.  Note: We ask that you wear a mask for this event unless actively eating or drinking.  We will still be seating each group separately for social distancing.
