Cyanotype Workshop

Join us for a Cyanotype Workshop at Hot House Brewing!  Also referred to as “sun printing”, Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that uses sun exposure to produce beautiful cyan-blue prints.  Your host, Mary of Sugar Moon Artistry, will walk you step by step through the Cyanotype process.  You'll create your own cyanotype print using your choice of botanical/natural elements like ferns, flowers and various leaves.  Feel free to bring your own items to print if you'd like!  After you're done, you'll frame your print!

Please note this workshop is starting a little earlier than our regular workshops at Hot House, in order to get the most sun we can after work hours.  We will hold this workshop in the upper greenhouse for more light as well.

You're welcome (and encouraged) to purchase beverages and food at Hot House Brewing and indulge during our class - they have their delicious handcrafted beers on tap, as well as a bistro that features paninis, wraps, salads and apps!  They also have a retail space where you can shop for their beer, NYS wine and spirits, goods from local artisans, NYS products, and tropical foliage!

Your ticket includes all of your materials and instruction.  All guests must purchase a ticket.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
