Fundraiser for 13thirty Cancer Connect: Summer Candle Workshop

Join us to create for a cause at Buried Acorn!  $10 from every ticket sold goes to 13thirty Cancer Connect!  In this workshop, your hosts, Eliza & Claire will walk you step by step through making your own set of summer-scented soy candles!  You'll choose your colors, your scents, and then decorate with shells, seaglass, sand and glitter if you'd like!  We'll be featuring summer scents as well - like ocean breeze, pineapple passionfruit, campfire marshmallow and more!  Each guest will make 2 - 6 oz candles (jars are 8 oz).

Please Note: Because we will be handling hot wax and there is some down time as candles set, we do not recommend this workshop for young children.

This event will be in the taproom at Buried Acorn or out on the patio if the weather allows!  You're welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase beverages  and food at Buried Acorn and indulge during our class.  They now have a kitchen too with some yummy eats, so we can really indulge while we craft!  (Note: the new kitchen means you can no longer bring your own food - but they've got you covered!  Check out their menu here.) 

All guests must purchase a ticket.  Your ticket includes all of your materials and instruction.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.

Cancer is tough and we’re here to help through it all. We have programs to meet all your needs – fitness, nutrition, arts, or just hanging out together. We also inform healthcare providers and educators about AYA cancer.
