Fundraiser for Walk MS: Butterfly Mosaic Workshop

Join us to create for a cause at Buried Acorn!  25% of every ticket sold goest to Walk MS!  During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashe Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic!  She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile and how to grout your piece.  Then you'll use your new skills to make a mosaic butterfly!  We'll provide all the colors shown (these are the Walk MS colors)  and more if you prefer to create your own color scheme, including found materials/tiles!

Black grout will be used for this project, as in the photo.

Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project.  This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include.

This event is for ages 12+.

We've formed a team for Walk MS— an event that brings together a community of passionate people to connect and raise funds to change the world for everyone affected by multiple sclerosis.

MS is an unpredictable and often disabling disease. Our team is uniting to end MS forever, and we invite you to donate or join our team!

We've set an ambitious goal because with your support, we can get there. The money we raise will help drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most.

This event will be in the taproom at Buried Acorn!  You're welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase beverages  and food at Buried Acorn and indulge during our class.  They now have a kitchen too with some yummy eats, so we can really indulge while we craft!  Check out their menu here.

All guests must purchase a ticket.  Your ticket includes all of your materials and instruction.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
