Holiday Mug Painting + Candle Making Workshop

Join us for a painting + candle Workshop at Parthenon Books!  During this workshop your host, Claire, will teach you some painting basics and walk you through her design, or you can paint whatever makes you happy!  Add your favorite holiday quote for a finishing touch.  After that, we'll turn your painted masterpiece into a soy wax candle!  We'll have a variety of festive scents and dyes for you to choose from to customize your candle. Candle will be 9 oz (mug is 11 oz).  We'll send you home with instructions to cure the paint on your mug so you can use it for your favorite beverages after your candle is gone too!  

You're welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase beverages and treats from the cafe at Parthenon to fuel your creativity while you create!  You can also browse the bookstore and go home with a new read too (a candle + a book would make a great holiday gift)!

Your ticket includes all materials and instruction.  All guests must purchase a ticket.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
