Mosaic Bird Workshop

Join us for a Mosaic Workshop at Meier's Creek Brewing Company in Cazenovia!  During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashe Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic!  She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile, how to use the tile grinder to shape your pieces and how to grout your piece.  Then you'll use your new skills to make a mosaic bird!  A variety of found materials and tiles will be available but may vary slightly from photo depending on supplier availability.  White grout will be used for this project, as in the photo.  Birds measure about 6 x 3.5"

Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project.  This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include.

This event is for ages 12+.

This event will be in a section of the taproom! You're welcome (and encouraged) to purchase beverages and food at Meier's Creek and indulge during our class - they make their own craft beer, and offer a delicious array of pizza, wings, sandwiches, bowls and more!  Check out the menu.

Your ticket includes all materials and instruction.  All guests must purchase a ticket.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
