About the Event
Join us for a Mosaic Workshop at Meier's Creek Brewing Company in Cazenovia! During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashe Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic! She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile, how to use the tile grinder to shape your pieces and how to grout your piece. Then you'll use your new skills to make a mosaic bird! A variety of found materials and tiles will be available but may vary slightly from photo depending on supplier availability. White grout will be used for this project, as in the photo. Birds measure about 6 x 3.5"
Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project. This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include.
