Mosaic Bird Workshop

Join us for a Mosaic Workshop at Riseform Brewing Co.!  During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashe Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic!  She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile, how to use the tile grinder to shape your pieces and how to grout your piece.  Then you'll use your new skills to make a mosaic bird!  A variety of found materials and tiles will be available but may vary slightly from photo depending on supplier availability.  White grout will be used for this project, as in the photo.  Birds measure about 6 x 3.5"

Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project.  This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include.

This event is for ages 12+.

This event will be in the taproom at Riseform. You're welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase beverages there and indulge during our class.  The brewery does not serve food, but we recommend you check out some of the neighboring restaurants and bring your own!

For this workshop, you will be seated next to other guests as we'll all be at their two larger tables, but when you register we'll ask you to tell us who is in your party so we can ensure you all get seats next to eachother.

Your ticket includes all materials and instruction.  All guests must purchase a ticket.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
