Mosaic Tray Workshop

Join us for a Mosaic Workshop at Buried Acorn!  During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashes Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic!  She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile, how to use the tile grinder to shape your pieces and how to grout your piece.  Then you'll use your new skills to make a decorative mosaic tray!  Tray measures 13" x 10" and will come unpainted, so in a natural wood finish.  You can grab paint and do that at home if you'd like!

Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project.  This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include in your tray.

This event will be in the taproom at Buried Acorn!  You're welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase beverages  and food at Buried Acorn and indulge during our class.  They now have a kitchen too with some yummy eats, so we can really indulge while we craft!  Check out their menu here. 

All guests must purchase a ticket.  Your ticket includes all of your materials and instruction.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
